Alcohol Party Balloons Sending Birthday Wishes

I created a red and gold, with touched of purple alcohol ink background for my granddaughter's birthday card. I had a lot leftover since it was a full 8-1/2" x 11" sheet. I love the vibrancy of alcohol inks. I was able to create seven more beautiful cards using this background paper.

For this card I pulled out an old balloon die set and cut three of them from the alcohol ink background. Balloon strings were cut from gold mirror cardstock. The balloons were cut three more times from red cardstock and all layers were adhered together with liquid glue. The balloon ties were adhered to the back of the balloons with liquid glue.

A panel of white cardstock was cut down with a stitched rectangle die and then dry embossed with a happy birthday embossing folder. Foam tape was added to the back and it was adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase. The balloons and strings were then adhered in place with liquid glue.

The sentiment had been previously hot foiled.
