Be Bold Blooms You're in My Thoughts

I had so many flowers and leaves leftover from my previous card that I decided to make another. This time using less flowers.

The Memory Box Matinee Rectangle was used to cut a panel from white cardstock. I used the second largest die. This gave a smaller canvas, if you will, to arrange the flowers on. I decided to dry emboss it using the Darice Basketweave Embossing Folder. If you look at my cards you will see that adding texture behind a focal point is a favorite of mine. I like the way it draws the eye and adds visual interest. I also like how a smaller panel allows the flowers and leaves to spill over the edges.

I arranged the flowers and leaves on the embossed panel and then used Press 'n Seal to keep them in place. This allows you to not have to arrange the elements again, trying to remember the way you liked them. It is a great tool. All of the flowers, except the front largest flower were adhered with liquid glue. The front flower was adhered using Simon Says Stamp Big Mama Foam Tape.

The sentiment was a foiled one I had in my my stash. It was also adhered with foam tape.

Darice Sticky Back Foam was added to the back of the panel, which was then adhered to a top folding A2 white cardbase. A few gold sequins were scattered around the arrangement and the card was done.
