This die from Simon Says Stamp makes a quick and easy shaker card.
I cut a panel of white cardstock with a stitched rectangle die and then cut the candle circle close to the top. Acetate was added to the back and adhered to the back of the opening with dotliner adhesive.
The candles portion of the die was cut from some blue and white polka dot paper and pieced into the opening, adhering the pieces with liquid glue. The flames were cut from gold shimmer cardstock and also glued in place.
Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape was added to the back of the panel, making sure there was a well around the circle opening.
The sentiment was cut from gold and polka dot cardstock to determine which I liked best. I really liked it when they were adhered together overlapping a little so the gold was peeking out the back. However, I decided to use a gold metallic gelly roll pen to make the polka dots gold. The sentiment was adhered in place with liquid glue.
When I went to lay the shaker panel on the cardbase I decided I wanted to add some dimension with a little dry embossing. I should have cut a panel and embossed it, but I didn't and so a pile of blue and silver seed beads were added to the front of the of the card and then the backing was removed from the back of the shaker panel and carefully laid in place.
