Bountiful Blooms Happy Birthday Dibbled Oval

cardtheraphy51

I had thought about using an embossed oval on a previous card, but it just didn't look right. I had the oval sitting on my desk and decided to put it to good use.

I die cut the coordinating flowers for the Simon Says Stamp Bountiful Blooms 3D Embossing folder and ran then them my die cut machine to add the beautiful details. I then ink blended them in some lovely spring colors.

I pulled out the My Favorite Things Bold Greenery dies to cut some leaves for the flowers and ink blended them green.

Three of the flowers were arranged around the embossed oval and adhered with low loft foam tape. Leaves were tucked underneath the flowers and adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment had been previously hot foiled. It was adhered in place with a combination of foam tape and liquid glue.

The oval was adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase with foam tape. I decided to use a Corner Chomper to round the edges of the cardbase. Gold confetti was added to the centers of the embossed dibbled circles on the oval and the card was done.
