I have a sweet ninety-year-old friend whose favorite color is purple. She lost her little dog and was feeling very sad, so I decided to pull out this lovely embossing folder and die from Simon Says Stamp. It isn't my favorite card, but I know she will like it.
I embossed a quarter sheet of white cardstock. I also cut it from some copy paper so I could fussy cut the flower to protect them while I ink blended the background green. I then ink blended the flower purple and added a golden yellow flower center. I cut the coordinating flower from white cardstock and then placed them in the appropriate place in the embossing folder to add the beautiful dimension. These flowers were also ink blended and then adhered on top with liquid glue.
The sentiment was cut from gold mirror cardstock and adhered in place with liquid glue. I decided to cut down the panel and add a gold frame. The final embellishments was to use a gold metallic pen to add details to the flower centers. The panel was then adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase.
