My great-nephew is getting married. I always ask what colors they have chosen for their wedding and create a card using those colors.
I decided to use the flower stamp from Honey Bee Stamps called Everything Wonderful. This flower arrangement is beautiful and allows for you to easily color the flowers with Copic Markers, or watercolors if you prefer. This time I used Copic Markers.
Once the coloring was complete it was die cut using the coordinating die. The coordinating die was also used to cut orange sticky back foam. I find the easiest way to add the foam to an image is to cut on the paper backing, remove the cover paper, and carefully align the image to the foam. To apply it to the card base I used liquid glue and then add a heavy block on top until the glue sets.
I had used the rust, orange, and cream in the arrangement, but I still needed to use a light green, so I pulled out some love textured cardstock from The Paper Company and cut a quarter sheet and adhered it to a horizontal cardbase with liquid glue.
Since I had used gold embossing on the flower stamp I decided to use gold mirror cardstock to cut the sentiments. It too was cut from orange sticky back foam and the two were adhered together. I had to cut away the foam from the areas where the sentiment overlapped the flowers, but that is pretty easy to do and give a beautiful results.
After this picture was taken I decided to add glossy accents to the berries, which give another dimension to the card. The last embellishment was to scatter some gold confetti around the image.
