Cookie Corner Sweet Treat Box Have a Delicious Day!

I've used this die before and wanted to create a masculine version. I cut the box from some polka dot paper and carefully folded back the top of the treat box opening on the score line. I cut heat resistant to go behind the window and stamped the sentiment with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it white. The acetate was adhered using double-sided tape. I created a frame to go around the inside of the window to cover up the tape and adhered it in place with liquid glue.

All of the cookies use Gina K. Designs Kraft Cardstock. There are some cute die cut decorations for the cookies. Some with swirls, or crisscross frosting, others have die cuts for chocolate chips or sprinkles. There is also a create little die to make a cookie look like a bite has been taken out of it. Six cookies will nestle inside the treat box. The decorations on the cookies were cut from different colored cardstock inlaid into the cookie and then glossy accents were added for additional visual interest.

To adhere the treat box to a my card front I added 3M foam tape to the edges of the box, which added enough dimension that the cookies could nestle inside. The cookie box was adhered to a panel of navy cardstock cut 1/8" smaller than an A2 card front. Everything was then adhered to a side folding A2 white cardbase.

The acetate was a little warped from heat setting the sentiment, so I decided to add a couple of small cookies from Simon Says Stamp Christmas Squad. They were stamped on Kraft with Distress Oxide Ground Espresso Ink, cut out with the coordinating die, and adhered to the corners of the box with liquid glue. This helped the lid to lie straight.
