Since moving to Texas I am sending out a lot more "Thinking of You" cards to friends back in Washington. I had depleted my stash and needed to create some more cards. It has been awhile since I watercolored some images, so I pulled out my Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock and stamped this pretty daisy image with Gina K. Designs Amalgam Ink, which is water resistant.
I used ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers for the image. The darkest yellow was added to the base, the lightest to the tips, and then the two were blended together with a damp brush. The centers of the flowers were colored with a dark and light brown. I liked the way it turned out.
The image was cutout using the coordinating die. Darice Sticky Back Foam was also cut using the add and the two were adhered together.
A rectangle of white cardstock was cut down using a stitched rectangle. The sentiment was stamped in the lower left and then the panel was dry embossed with the Cuttlebug Polka Dots Embossing Folder. It was adhered to a top folding yellow cardbase with dotliner adhesive. The daisy bouquet was adhered in place with liquid adhesive.
The final embellishment was to scatter a few yellow sequins around the bouquet.
