We received a sweet card from an old friend of our back in Washington. She sent us some money to go out and have lunch on her. Our sweet was that! She is such a kind and thoughtful woman and we wanted to let her know we were thinking of her and expressing our appreciation for her friendship.
I kept it very simple by embossing a panel of white cardstock that had been cut down with a stitched rectangle die with the beautiful flower bouquet in the Darcy Bouquet 3D Embossing Folder from Simon Says Stamp. I simple used the residual inks leftover on my blending brushes to add a little color to the bouquet. A gold gelly roll pen was used for the flower centers.
The large "Thinking of You" was cut from silver mirror cardstock and then three more times from heavy weight white cardstock. The layers were adhered together using liquid glue and then adhered to the front of the embossed panel.
A A2 panel of light pink cardstock was adhered to the front of a top folding cardbase with dotliner adhesive. The focal image panel was adhered to the cardfront with liquid glue.
