We know a young couple who recently lost their baby at around twenty-one weeks into the pregnancy. I've been there and know the great sorrow and loss that is felt. We wanted to send them our sincere sympathy and to let them know we are there for them.
I've had this complimentary stamp from Altenew sitting on my desk for months and decided to use it on this card. I cut out a panel of white cardstock using the second largest Little Be Frame die, which adds some lovely stitched detail to the edge. I traced around the die on some pink cardstock and fussy cut it out and adhered it to the back of the rectangle. This lets a little pink peek through the dots.
The flower arrangement was stamped on the rectangle with a light Copic friendly ink and the image was colored with some light pink and green markers. Once it was colored it was restamped and heat embossed gold.
I went searching for a sentiment that would fit underneath the flowers and found a beautiful one from Gina K. Designs. It too was stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed gold.
To add visual interest behind the focal image rectangle the front of an A2 cardbase was dry embossed with the Spellbinders Floral & Vine folder. The focal image was then adhered to the front of the cardbase with low loft foam tape.
