My granddaughter loves red and black. I wanted to create a special card for her and so I decided to create an Alcohol Ink Background using two reds, one purple, and a gold mixative inks. As it was drying I used gold Deco Foil, which really added a beautiful marbling to the background.
I pulled out the PaperTrey Ink Balloon Bunch die and cut from red cardstock. I then used the alcohol ink background and gold mirror cardstock to cut the individual balloons. They were cut again three times from red cardstock and individually adhered together with liquid glue. They were then adhered in place on the balloon bunch background with liquid glue.
The balloon strings and bow were cut from gold mirror cardstock and the the bouquet was adhered to the strings and then the bow was adhered in place with liquid glue.
The "enjoy" sentiment was cut from the alcohol inked background and another three times from red. The secondary sentiment was stamped on a scrap of black cardstock with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed gold.
Foam tape was added to the back of the bouquet and liquid glue to the strings. It was adhered to a quarter sheet of black cardstock that had been dry embossed with Stampin' Up's Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiments were adhered in place with liquid glue as well. The entire panel was adhered to a top folding cardbase with liquid glue.
