Etched Layered Daisies It's Your Day

cardtheraphy51

I love daisies, they are such a happy flower. I saw Amy Rasavy using these layered daisy die from Simon says Stamp and they were a good price point, so I bought it. I cut it three times from Hammermill cardstock and ink blended them with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks. for the yellow and orange flowers and a combination of Distress Oxide and Gina K. Designs Inks for the red flower. The veins in the flowers were accented with Copic Markers.

I wanted to add some visual interest behind the dies so I used a dotted argyle background background so light blue cardstock added behind it. Foam tape was added to the back and it was adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase. The daisies were adhered with a combination of foam tape and liquid glue. I pulled outa hot foiled sentiments banner I had in my stash, adhered it with foam tape. Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dark Walnut were added to the center of the flowers and this quick and easy card was done.
