Floral Layers Happy Birthday

This card uses some pretty layering dies from Sizzix. There are only two layers, and the flower center, but it make a really pretty card.

I cut the flower from a light pink cardstock and used a light and medium ink to ink blend the layers. This adds a lot of dimension and visual interest. The leaves were cut from a green cardstock and ink blended to a medium and dark green ink. The flower centers were cut from gold mirror cardstock. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue.

A panel of white cardstock was cut own using an arch die and then dry embossed with the Stampin' Up Argyle Embossing Folder.

The leaves were adhered with liquid glue and the flowers with liquid glue and foam tape.

The panel was adhered to a green cardbase with dotliner adhesive and the upper corners were rounded using the Corner Chomper, but I didn't like how that looked so I used scissors to cut the upper corners to match the curve of the arch.

A few gold confetti pieces where adhered around the flowers and the card was done.
