I had some scarps of blue cardstock sitting on my desk and decided to use them to create this balloon card.
I really like these balloons from Papertrey Ink because they add some great detailing. I decided to highlight that detailing with a gold metallic gelly roll pen. For the balloon that was cut from the polka dot paper, I turned the polka dot gold as well.
The balloon strings were cut from gold simmer cardstock and adhered to the bottom of the balloons.
A panel of white cardstock was cut down with a scalloped rectangle die and then dry embossed to add visual interest. It was adhered to a top folding cardbase with liquid glue.
Foam tape was added to the back of two of the balloons. The polka dot was adhere directly to the embossed rectangle.
The sentiment had been previously hot foiled and was adhered in place with small pieces of foam tape.
