My husband asked me to create a birthday card for a young man at church who likes to fish. Well actually he was going to use a card I made previously with two old men fishing and I said that isn't a good card for a young man. So this is what I created instead.
I first created an alcohol ink back that looked light water. It was cut down using a stitched rectangle die and adhered to a top folding cardbase with dotliner adhesive.
I pulled out Gina Marie Designs' Gone Fishing dies and cut them from gold mirror cardstock. They were cut an additional two times from heavy weight cardstock and all the layers were adhered together with liquid glue.
The sentiment was cut from gold mirror cardstock and two more times from heavy weight cardstock. Everything was adhered to the alcohol ink background with liquid glue.
