I had some leftover paper on my desk from the two previoius cards and decided to create one more card with the My Favorite Things Happy Cake die. This time I used an embossing mat to press the confetti into a panel of green cardstock. The panel was adhered to a top folding white cardbase.
The cake die was cut using Kraft cardstock and ink blended with a dark brown ink. It was cut again from a scrap of the confetti paper. The die was traced onto a scrap of cardstock and fussy cut smaller to act as a backer for the cake pieces. A small slit was cut in the top of the cake to insert the candle, which was cut using the My Favorite Things Cupcakes and Sprinkles die. The elements of the cake were then adhered to the backer with liquid glue. Green sticky back foam was fussy cut to fit behind the cake and it was adhered to the green embossed panel.
The sentiment was cut from gold mirror cardstock and three more times from heavy weight white cardtock. They were adhered together with liquid glue and then glued below the cake.
