When I pulled out the patterned paper pads for the previous card and sheet of random green patterned paper was stuck in between. I don't know where it came from, but I liked the heart patterned and decided to create a party hat from it using the medium size had from Papertrey Ink.
I felt like it needed more than just the one hat, but I found some green striped paper to match and cut two small hats from it. Green glitter cardstock was used for the fringe and the pom pom.
An oval of green cardstock was cut and dry embossed with the new Pretty Pink Posh Quilted folder. Since there was white in the patterned paper on the hats, I pulled out Nuvo White Crystal Drops and added a drop to the center of each quilt. I liked the way this turned out.
The three party hats were adhered in place. A sentiment was cut from green glitter cardstock. To help it stand out on the green background it was cut from white cardstock and they layers were adhered offset.
