Since I had the Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Cupcake and More sitting on my desk I decided to create another card using some of these dies. I decided to create a three tiered ice cream cone.
I cut the cone from Kraft cardstock and ink blended the backing layer with a heavy hand of brown ink and the edges of the top two layers with a light hand of the same ink. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue.
The ice cream was cut from scraps of pink, white, and brown cardstock. The edges were ink blended to add depth and dimension and the layers were adhered together with liquid glue.
The three scoops of ice cream were adhered together with liquid glue. Multi-colored sprinkles were adhered in place with liquid glue.
I had this negative arch leftover from a previous card and decided to use it on this card. The panel was cut down a little with a stitched rectangle die and foam tape was added to the edges on the back of the panel. A rectangle of pink patterned paper was added to the back of the panel by removing the foam tape. It was then adhered to a top folding cardbase. I wanted to ice cream cone to have more dimension than the panel, so another layer of foam tape was added to the back.
I was going to stamp the sentiment on the bottom of the panel underneath the arch, but the stamp slipped in my MISTI and it was crooked, so I stamped it again on a scrap of white cardstock, cut it down with a sentiment label die, and adhered it over the crooked stamping with liquid glue.
