Hexi-Gem Bloom It’s Your Day

I recently purchased this beautiful hot foil flower arrangement from Spellbinders. Today I foiled it on both white and black cardstock. Each has a completely different look. This card uses the image on black cardstock. It was foiled gold and then colored with FineTec Iridescent and Pearlescent watercolors. When the coloring was complete it was cut out using the coordinating die. You can't really see it in this picture, but the watercolors are beautiful and have a lovely shine. The die was also used to cut out black sticky back foam and the colored arrangement and foam die cuts were adhered together by removing the backing paper on the foam.

A Hegi-Gem die was used to cut a panel from black and white cardstock. A black shadow was cut using the next larger hexi die and the two were adhered together with liquid glue. The focal image was adhered in place by removing the backing on the foam tape.

The front of an A2 cardbase was also dry embossed with the Stampin' Up Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and the focal image hexi panel was adhered in place with liquid glue.

The sentiment was hot foiled and cut into a sentiment banner. It was adhered with a combination of liquid glue and a small strip of foam tape.
