This card is for my granddaughter who is turning 22. It's amazing how fast the time flies. Her favorite colors are light pink and purple, so those are the colors used for this card.
The cupcake and the sentiment are layering dies from Honey Bee Stamps. The frosting was cut from two different colors of light pink. The cupcake wrapper was cut from two different purple cardstocks. I decided to use the round confetti die to create polka dots on the cupcake liner. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue.
I decided to add number candles to the top of the cupcake. They were cut from the dark purple cardstock and the flames from gold glitter cardstock.
A panel was cut from the light purple cardstock and dry embossed with a swiss dot embossing folder. It was adhered to a top folding cardbase with liquid glue.
The secondary sentiment was stamped with purple ink on a scrap of light purple cardstock and cut out with a sentiment label die.
Everything was adhered to the front of the card using foam tape. The final embellishment was to add some crystal drops around the cupcake and add Ranger Crystal Stickles to the top layer of the frosting.
