Layered Daisies Get Well Soon

Updated: Mar 4, 2021

It seems like I have a need for a certain type of card and once it is complete I feel compelled to create more. I decided to add to my stash of get well cards to have a few more on hand.

For this card I pulled out Gina K. Designs Layered Daisies and stamped them with some Gina K. Designs peach and orange inks for the flowers and green for the leaves. The center of the flowers were stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. This images were cutout using the coordinating dies.

I arranged the flowers and leaves and decided to adhered them to a smaller white panel cut down using a Memory Box Matinee Rectangle. The back two flowers and leaves were adhered directly to the rectangle with liquid glue. The larger top flower was adhered using Simon Says Stamp Big Mama Foam Tape, and the small top flower was adhered using 3M 1/2" Foam Tape with has a higher loft.

The sentiment was stamped below the flower bouquet with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.

I decided to add some visual interest behind the focal image rectangle and dry embossed the front of a top folding cardbase with the Darice Basketweave Embossing Folder. The focal image panel was adhered to the front of the card using Simon Says Big Mama Foam Tape.

The final embellishment was to add Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ebony Black to the center of the flowers to add a little texture and dimension.
