I was asked to create Mother's Day cards for all the women at my church. That means that I spent two weeks creating 110 cards. I wanted to have a variety of cards. This card uses the Scrapbook.com Layered Rose Die. It also uses the Altenew Floral Doodles Die for the smaller leaves.
The base of the flowers were cut from yellow cardstock. To add shading a detail layer was cut from heavy weight white cardstock, sprayed with Pixie Spray and then added to the base to ink blend the petals. The same was done for the smaller layered leaves. The detail layer was cut from gold mirror cardstock and adhered to the base using dotliner adhesive. The leaf sprigs were cut from green cardstock and green vellum.
A panel of white cardstock was cut using the Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence Die. It was adhered to a quarter sheet panel of pale blue cardstock with dotliner adhesive. The panel was adhered to a top folding cardbase.
The main sentiment was cut from gold mirror cardstock. The flowers and leaves were laid in place to determine where to stamp the secondary sentiment with VersaMark Ink and heat emboss gold. The elements of the arrangement were adhered in place with liquid glue.
