I had some leftover patterned paper from my last card sitting on my desk and decided to put it to good use on another card. I send thinking of you cards weekly to my uncle who lost his wife a few months ago so I'm always trying to think of good masculine thinking of you cards. This is a clean and simple design.
I took some leftover red cardstock and cut it to be 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" and adhered it to a top folding cardbase. I cut down the patterned paper to be the 5-1/2 x 3-1/2". I pulled out Simon Says Stamp Thinking of You Line Die and cut the "thinking" from some leftover green cardstock and adhered it to the bottom third of the card. I cut the secondary greetings "of you" from red cardstock and adhered it overlapping the green thinking of you. I added green sticky back foam to the back back of the patterned paper and adhered it to the red card front. I decided to add a thin strip of green cardstock between the red and the patterned paper.
A quick and easy card.
