Penguin Holiday Wishes

I serve young women from 11-18 in my church. One of the upcoming activities we plan to have with them is making Christmas cards they can share with family and friends. I will be sharing several different cards that I made as examples of what they can make.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with Copic Markers. I do not have a coordinating die so it was fussy cut with scissors. For the girls I will cut the images using the Silhouette Cameo PIXScan Mat.

A small rectangle was cut using a stitched rectangle die. A large snowflake was stamped on the rectangle with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed clear. It was stamped again on the cardbase with Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass Ink. The small panel was ink blended with the Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass Ink and adhered to the front of the cardbase with dotliner adhesive.

A couple of hills were cut from white cardstock using Lawn Fawn Hillside Border Dies. The edges were ink blended with Tumbled Glass Ink. The sentiment was stamped on the top hillside border with Gina K. Designs Powder Blue Ink and then both were adhered to the smaller rectangle with dotliner adhesive.

The penguin image was adhered in place with liquid glue. Ranger Crystal Stickles were added to the blue rectangle to create sparkling snow.
