I love working with alcohol inks. I don't do it very often because it is messy, but the colors are so vivid and bright. I used one and one-half sheets of glossy photo paper and was able to create nine cards from the backgrounds.
Since the backgrounds I created were blue and looked like water, I pulled out this old sailboat die from My Favorite Things. It was cut three times and layered together with liquid glue.
A panel of alcohol ink background was cut 1/4" smaller than a card front. The sailboat was adhered in the center. I wanted to add some waves but I don't have a die for that, so I used a cloud border die instead. It was adhered to the bottom of the panel with foam tape.
The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink, heat embossed gold, and cut using a sentiment label die. It was adhered with liquid glue on the waves.
