This is another beautiful flower stamp from Penny Black. It was stamped in a light gray ink first and then colored with Copic Markers. After coloring was complete it was stamped again with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed gold. I wanted to pop up the flowers with foam tape, so the image was fussy cut with scissors.
I recently saw Jill Foster used a narrow border die on a card and decided I wanted to do something similar. I didn't have the right size, so I used what I had and then did some on the edge die cutting of a rectangle die to add a thin border around the edged leaves. The leaves were cut three time and adhered together with liquid glue and then the thin border was applied to the top. It was adhered to the left of a top folding cardbase and the flower image was adhered with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape.
The word "Happy" was cut from gold mirror cardstock and thin strips of foam tape was added to the back of the letters that didn't overlap the flowers. The secondary sentiment was stamped on a scrap of white cardstock that was colored with the same Copic Markers as the flowers, heat embossed gold, and cut into a banner and adhered by adding three small pieces of paper behind the banner.
