Michael's uncle Gary pass away this past weekend. This card is for his family.
I pulled out the beautiful Star Tulip dies from Altenew and cut them from Gina K. Designs Sweet Mango and Jelly Bean Green cardstocks, along with a dark green cardstock from scraps for the leaves. The edges were ink blended to add depth and dimension.
A 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" panel was cut from the Jelly Bean Green cardstock and dry embossed with the Simon Says Stamp Vine Canopy 3D Embossing Folder. Green ink was gently ink blended on the embossing to highlight the details. It was adhered to a top folding cardbase with liquid glue.
A panel of white cardstock was cut with the pretty Little B Frame Die. I love the shape of this die and the size is perfect for adding an accent behind an image. Foam tape was added to the back and it was adhered to the cardbase.
The leaves were adhered in place with liquid glue. Low loft foam tape was added to the back of the flower and it was adhered in place by removing the backing paper.
The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink onto a scrape of black cardstock and heat embossed white. It was cut down with a sentiment banner die and adhered over the lower portion of the flower.
Iridescent yellow bubbles were scattered around the flower and the card was done.
