I guess I looking forward to warm weather here in Texas and pulled out this tulip image from Penny Black. It was stamped with a light ink onto watercolor paper and colored with Distress Re-inkers. I decided to color the background behind the flowers with blue ink.
A woodgrain frame was cut from a light gray cardstock and then distressed with Distress Ink Weathered Wood. Foam tape was added to the back of the frame and it was adhered to the watercolored panel.
The word "enjoy" was cut from gold mirror cardstock and an additional three times from white cardstock. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue. The die cut sentiment was laid over the flower background to determine where to stamp the secondary greeting with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed gold. The die was word was then adhered in place with liquid glue.
Three gold butterflies were punched for mirror cardstock and scattered around the flowers. Crystal gems were also scattered around the image. Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen was added to the petals of the flowers.
