Sweet Baby Girl Bib

A young couple at church had their first baby, a little girl. I used the Papertrey Ink Sweet Baby Bib dies to create this card.

I found some great cardstock in my stash with all kinds of baby words and cut it down with a scalloped rectangle die. It was adhered to a quarter sheet of pink cardstock with dotliner adhesive. The panel was then adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase.

There are several different designs and embellishments for the bibs in the die set. For this card I used the lacy edging and the plain bib, cutting them from white and pink cardstock. The two were adhered together with liquid glue.

The flowers and "baby" word were cut from the same pink cardstock, but dimension was added by ink blending the center of the flowers and the bottom of the word with pink in. The flower centers and the word "sweet" were cut from gold mirror cardstock. Everything was adhered in place with liquid glue.

Low loft foam tape was added to the back of the bib and it was then adhered to the patterned paper card front.
