When I complete the previous card I had three positive balloon shapes leftover. I decided to create another card with them.
I began by ink blending the balloons with purple ink. I then pulled out three different embossing folder to add texture to the balloons. To bring out the texture Brilliance Galaxy Gold Ink was gently rubbed on the surface. It wasn't the contrast that I wanted so I pulled out a gold metallic gelly roll pen and added ink to the raised areas of the balloons. The gold ink on the large balloons wasn't very smooth, so I pulled how Simon Hurley's Gold Rush Lunar Paste and smoothed it on the raised surface with my finger. I also added gold ink into the depressed lines on the mosaic small balloon.
A panel of white cardstock was cut down with a stitched rectangle die and foam tape was added to the back. It was adhered to a top folding cardbase by removing the backing paper on the foam tape.
The large balloon was adhered in place with liquid glue. The medium balloon was adhered with a low loft foam tape, and the small balloon with a higher loft foam tape.
The sentiment had been previously hot foiled. It had been tacked with three additional cutouts of the sentiment. It was adhered in place with liquid glue.
