Three-Tiered Floral Accented Cake

This card uses an old Spellbinder's die set. I cut the top layer from a medium pink and the bottom later from a dark pink. The two were layered together with liquid glue. Foam tape was added to the back of the layers for dimension.

The Flowers and candles were also cut from the dark pink and the leaves from a scrap of green cardstock. The cake stand was cut from a silver mirror cardstock. Foam tape was added to the back of the stand as well.

A panel of cardstock was cut using a stitched rectangle die and then embossed with a swiss dot folder. Low loft foam tape was added to the back and it was adhered to a top folding cardbase.

The sentiment was cut from silver mirror cardstock. The cake stand and layers, along with the sentiment were laid on the swiss dot panel to determine placement. The sentiment was glued in place with liquid glue. The cake stand and cake layers were adhered by removing the backing paper on the foam tape. The candles will tucked into the back of the top layer. The flowers and leaves were then adhered in place with liquid glue. Clear rhinestones were added to the center of the flowers. Gold Stickles were added to the flames on the candle and the card was done.
