This card actually took a while to create since I stamped the image first with a green ink and then with a colored ink. They all had to be cut out using the coordinating dies, which are solid, so templates needed to be cut first. The colored flower heads were cut with scissors and adhered to the green stems with a foam squares. Gold rhinestones were added to the center of the open flowers.
I had a leftover green scalloped frame and decided to use it on this card. I cut some grass from the same cardstock and adhered it to the bottom of the frame. The flowers were then adhered in place with liquid glue. Additional leaves were cut and adhered in place as well. The flowers that overlapped the frame were adhered with liquid glue. Foam tape was added to the back of the fame and the flower centers.
The edges of the front of a landscape cardbase was masked off and the center ink blended a light blue. The frame and flowers were then adhered in place by removing the backing on the foam tape.
The sentiment was stamped on the frame with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed white. Three butterflies were punched from white cardstock and colored with the yellow Copic Markers used on the flowers. Yellow rhinestones were used for the bodies of the butterflies.
I didn't like the way the white edges of the die cut were showing, so I colored them with markers like Kelly Taylor does and liked it better.
