This card uses a smaller piece of the alcohol ink background used in previous cards. It was cut down using a circle die from Ellen Hutson, which not only cuts a circle, but a small frame as well. Simon Says Stamp's Vented Star die was cut from the center. I kept all the vented pieces of the star to be used on another card. I enjoy making two cards from the pieces used for one. The circle and star was also cut from gold cardstock. The alcohol ink circle with the negative cutout of the star was adhered to another circle large enough to adhered to gold frame and the alcohol circle. The gold pieces of the vents were also adhered in place with liquid glue.
For the sentiment I pulled out My Favorite Things' Shining Star die and cut it from gold cardstock, and two more times from heavy weight white cardstock. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue.
A panel of white cardstock was cut using the Memory Box Starry Night Background die. All the pieces remained in place and I liked that look, so using dotliner adhesive it was adhered to the front of an A2 cardbase.
The star circle and sentiment were laid on the card front to determine where to stamp the secondary sentiment, then they were adhered in place with liquid glue.
