I have both My Favorite things Old Friends and BB Festive Old Friends. I really like the images. I'm seventy and a lot of the people I send cards are contemporaries. We come in all shapes and sizes, which is illustrated in the images. I stamped three of the men with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto white cardstock. I also stamped the shirts and sweaters onto some patterned paper and fussy cut them to paper piece into the images. The rest of the images were colored with Copic Markers and then cut out using the coordinating dies. Looking at the card now, I should have had different skin tones, maybe next time.
Simon Says Stamp Big Mama Foam Tape was added to the back of each image. A quarter sheet of white cardstock was cut using the My Favorite Things Mod Rectangle Die. The images were laid in place to determine where to stamp the sentiment and where then adhered by removing the backing paper on the foam tape. I decided to mat the mod rectangle with blue cardstock, cutting it 1/8" larger than the rectangle and then fussy cutting the rounded corners. The panel was then adhered to a side folding landscape cardbase.
