This is the second set of masculine thank you cards for the Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels. When I was going through my larger sentiment I saw this great one by Matty's Crafting Joy and decided to use it a couple of cards. I also pulled out the guitars from Jillian Vance's Music Speaks to add to the design. They were stamped with Rich Cocoa Memento Ink and colored with Copic Markers.
The sentiment was cut from colorful cardstock and a darker shadow color. The two were adhered together with liquid glue. For the background on the first card I used some woodgrain patterned paper. On the second card I used a woodgrain embossing folder. Both were cut down using a stitched rectangle and matted with the same paper used for the die cut word. The secondary sentiment was stamped onto Kraft cardstock with a coordinating Distress Oxide Ink and cut into a flagged strip with a Honey Bee Sentiment Banner die. The guitar nestled into the opening to the right of "you" and above "rock."
Both were quick and easy cards to make and Natalie said they were her new favorites.
